The American Society of Brewing Chemists was founded in 1934 to improve and bring uniformity to the brewing industry on a technical level. ASBC is represented by individual and corporate members worldwide representing large and small brewers, consultants, government agencies, academics, distillers, vintners and those working in allied industries. ASBC is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality, consistency and safety of malt-based beverages and their ingredients with: (1) Analytical, scientific process control methods to ensure high quality and safety standards (2) Problem solving on industry-wide issues using chemistry and microbiology (3) Scientific support to evaluate raw materials for optimum performance (4) Professional development opportunities.
